How often should I check the operator each year?
The operator should be checked at least twice a year, including its rail and roller clearing.
Are there any speed adjustments on your products?
Yes. The speed adjustment ability depends on the function box that comes with the unit. For example, GS6045 comes with function box (SLB-F01 or F02R) which only provides the standard 5 channels of operating modes, mechanical door lock and remote controller for F02R. It does not provide speed adjustment unlike the higher model’s function boxes for GS6080 in the same GS60 Regal Series.
Can the Higher End models’ Function Boxes be used for the standard operator?
No. since the cables used are different due to more functions and abilities, the higher end function boxes cannot be used on the standard operating unit in each series.
How long is the Average life cycle of the operator?
The operator’s life cycle is at least at 2 million door movements, equivalent to more or less 7 years.
The outer sensors activates even when there is no object detected in its sensor beam, causing the door to open without any reasons. When I replace the sensors, nothing changes! Why is that?
Remove all the sensor wires from the controller and press TEST to see whether the controller functions well without a sensor attached. If that is the case, it means that the sensor was improperly installed and you have to install it again following the installation manual.
